Mintha is named after the nympth 'Minthe' from Greek Mythology.
MINTHE was a water nymph of Mount Mintha in Elis (southern Greece) loved by the god Haides. The significance of it's name is due to the yo-yo having been made during June, the rainy season in South China, hence the hub is meant to represent a raindrop, and the subsequent wave ripples moving out from it.
Nearly H-Shape in design, with a lot of rim weight for a combination of stability and longer spins, targeted more at the beginner player's first metal yo-yo.
