XL is the Thickest type among all of Kitty String's current offerings. XL gives a much tighter bind and faster whip. This was designed for people who still feel that the Fat type are bit thin for their play, or are using extra wide gapped yo-yos - so the thickness was increased to 13 Strands to make it even more thicker and heavier for all types of division. Usually XL is more commonly used by 1A players.
The first string to feature different tension at the base (that loops around the bearing) compared to the rest of the string, where it's wound with a softer tension allowing for smoother play.
Each 100 pack comes complete with a string organiser strap - to make it easier to hold and remove your string.
